Photoshop FAQ's
I have a digital camera and shoot mostly family photos for fun. Can I use this program?

You bet! You'll learn some really neat things that you can't do with other cheaper programs and that will "spice up" your images. People will wonder how you did it! Not only that, but you will learn how to use the most powerful photo program on the market today and the one that is used by all major newspapers and magazines. Don't be intimidated though...it is easy and fun once you get the hang of it...and that doesn't take long with this study program.

You say the study program is guaranteed. How does that work? I've never seen that before in a home study course.

We feel our program is so good and easy to learn that if you aren't satisfied, then simply return the materials within 30 days and we will refund your money in full. (Don't you wish you had that kind of guarantee from college or school?)

What's on the CD that comes with the home study course?

The CD is an integral part of the course program. No it isn't a video of our instructors lecturing...we don't do that. Rather, it contains images that you work on and correct, without affecting your own photos...at least at first. (I might add that many of these images are wildlife and scenic photos made by our professors and instructors and which you may have seen in many magazines.) We don't want you to take a chance with your photos until you understand the techniques we teach you! Simple and safe!!! These images are really messed up though, so you have to "fix" them using our simple techniques and shortcuts given in the workbook. So you learn by DOING!!!

What are the enrollment and material fees (cost of the programs)?

Photoshop 101P---$110.00 and includes shipping in the U.S.(international a little more in postage depending upon the country)

Which Adobe versions are the home study programs designed around?

101P---Adobe Photoshop CS2 or CS3. You just tell us which one you have.

Since this is a home study course, do I have to send in assignments?

No. You learn at home at your own pace. If you have a specific question, you can contact our professors on line on the internet for additional help at no additional charge. Or if necessary we will call you personally (in the U.S. and Canada) to help walk you through the solutions.

Is there any follow-up after I finish the course?

Hey, Photoshop is a program that you never fully master!!! We make it fun and want you to have fun with it, so we will periodically send you new tricks and ideas to keep you interested in using the program and which you can use with your own photo projects. It is a great course for students of photography in high school or college.

I don't know much about computers, will this course still help me?

Absolutely!!! Listen Photoshop 101P is a "spoon fed" courses designed for rank amateurs and complete beginners (newbies) with computers. We tried it on people of all ages, well nearly all ages, from 13-82, with very little experience in computers and they were all manipulating images within less than two hours after beginning. (We didn't know a young lady at 82 could have so much fun cropping and sizing images...and that was just the start!)

Is Photoshop Academy a part of Adobe?

No! Photoshop Academy is NOT related to Adobe Systems, Inc. but rather, an independent educational organization. Adobe Systems is the developer of the software and holds the patents and registration for the program. You buy the software programs and Photoshop Academy teaches you how to use them.
